Use the angle! Systems & Cells &

Last Week in Math we:

  • Problem Solved with Pythagoras
    • how do you find the hypotenuse?
    • how can you tell if it is a right angle triangle?
    • how do you calculate perimeter?
    • what is a perfect square?  square root?

    • Completed 3.3 Estimating Square Roots, & 3.4 Using the Pythagorean Relationship, & 3.5 Applying the Pythagorean relationship

Last Week in Science we:

  • Continued work on Cells & Systems
  • Is your VOCABULARY done?
    • What are the characteristics of living things?
    • What is a cell?  What are the differences between plant and animal cells?  Why do they have differences?  DID YOU DO A VENN DIAGRAM IN YOUR VISUAL JOURNAL?
    • What is evidence?  How is it different from rumor?

    • What are structures the 8 organ systems we looked at?
    • Microscopes, tissues, and cells!
    • difference between multi-cellular and unicellular (single cell)

Coming up:

  • Final Project on Pythagoras
